President of the Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI), Eng. Saad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khalb said that the announcement of offering AlKhomra logistics area for investors represents a qualitative leap in the logistics sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to open new horizons for promising investment and commercial opportunities and enhance strategic partnerships with the private sector, which contributes to developing the maritime transport industry and improving the quality of operations and logistic services. During the opening session of the 3rd Saudi Logistics Conference, Al-Khalb pointed out that the offering of AlKhomra logistics area to investors will be through leasing system, which is the largest integrated logistics area in the Kingdom, with an area of more than 2 million square meters and improvable areas exceeding one million square meters in its first phase. He added that AlKhomra Logistics Zone is characterized by its strategic location in the southern province of Jeddah which is close to international trade lines and Jeddah Islamic Port, as this will contribute to making it a global logistics platform and a major hub linking the Middle East and Europe and Africa. President of Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI), pointed out that AlKhomra Logistics Area has a high efficient road network by linking Jeddah Islamic Port and King Abdulaziz International Airport, as well as its close location to the expected land route and with the various roads of the Kingdom's major cities.
