Moroccan Parliament Speaker Habib al-Maliki, here today received a delegation of the Shura Council headed by Council member and head of the Saudi-Moroccan Parliamentary Friendship Committee Assaf bin Salem Abu Thuneen. Shura Council member Assaf bin Salem Abu Thuneen praised the close brotherly relations between Saudi Arabia and Morocco, stressing the great role of the leadership of the two countries in developing these relations, expressing his appreciation for Morocco's supportive stances to the Kingdom. Abu Thuneen stressed the importance of pushing economic cooperation between the two countries to new and diverse horizons. For his part, the President of the Moroccan House of Representatives praised the distinguished relations between the two countries, stressing that they are exceptional relations with deep historical roots.
