Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Sudan Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Omar received today the delegation of the Saudi-Sudanese Parliamentary Friendship Committee, headed by Saudi Shura Council member Assaf bin Salem Abu Thuneen, within the framework of the delegation's official visit to the Republic of Sudan. At the outset of the meeting, the National Assembly Speaker praised the strategic relations between the two countries and the bilateral cooperation in the parliamentary field. For his part, Head of the Saudi-Sudanese Parliamentary Friendship Committee Assaf bin Salem Abu Thuneen stressed the importance of developing bilateral relations between the two countries to serve the common interests.
