President of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Hajjar, has been accorded the chairmanship the Multilateral development banks (MDBs) Forum, during the meetings of the MDBs heads, held in Washington, on the sidelines of the annual joint meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The selection was made at Regular meeting of heads of international development banks, in Washington on the side lines of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. Selection of Dr. Hajjar, a Saudi national, coincided with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia rotational chairmanship of the G20 member states. Such a world recognized forum is a non-formal venue for thinking and views exchange among dozens of development banks executives, from all over the world, over development cooperation various issues and coordinating policies and programs, in order to best serve contribution to realizing sustainable development banks.
