Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Energy, here today met with Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Orishkin. The meeting dealt with the economic cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing it in all fields, as well as means of understanding between the Kingdom and Russia in economic, developmental and joint projects. He also discussed with the Russian minister aspects of close cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy and the role of the two countries in the stability of global markets through continuous coordination in this area, where both sides praised the results achieved by the OPEC agreement, which helps to stabilize the oil market and the future of petroleum industries. The Minister of Energy praised the kingdom's relations with Russia, noting that the cooperation between the two countries witnessed significant progress in the field of investments after the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Russia, adding that the upcoming visit of President Vladimir Putin to the kingdom will add a new impetus and give a broader dimension to joint efforts and the potential of cooperation in various fields to achieve the aspirations of the two countries and the two peoples to reach high and unprecedented levels of achievement, progress, prosperity and sustainability.
