The volunteer medical team of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief ) has saved the life of the 10- day Yemeni child (Jana) after conducting here today an emergency interventional catheterization at the Pulse of Life Center for Cardiology and Surgery. Jana was born with a blockage in the pulmonary valve and tightness in the triple valve that prevented the arrival of blood to her lungs and severe lack of oxygen in the body required urgent intervention. The head of the volunteer medical team, Prof. Jamil Atta, said: The medical campaign comes within the framework of the voluntary children's heart campaigns to treat difficult and dangerous cases, pointing out that the volunteer medical campaign is the third campaign for the KSRelief for Open Heart Surgery and Catheterization for Yemeni children in less than six months.
