The Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa signed here today with Minister of Administrative Reform of Indonesia and Vice Chairman of Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) Syafruddin, an agreement to establish the largest historical and civilizational museum on the Prophet's biography and Islamic civilization in Jakarta which is a branch of its headquarters in Madinah, which opened in last month of Ramadan under the patronage of Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah, and received global impact, where MWL received requests from 24 countries to open branches in it with full support, including the allocation of appropriate land and overcome all difficulties. The Secretary General of MWL said that this project came at the request of the Indonesian government and that MWL is paying attention to the historical legacy of the Prophet's biography and Islamic civilization, pointing out that the museum is dedicated to highlighting the biography of the Prophet and Islamic civilization with the latest methods of presentation with professional drawings and figures. He added that the capital Jakarta has become the first sub-station to host this global museum, which is branching from its headquarters in Madinah, noting that the museum will highlight the contents of the Prophet's biography and Islamic civilization, and will include multiple events and host discussion and training seminars, in addition to organizing many conferences, forums and seminars. For his part, the Indonesian Minister expressed his pleasure and the pleasure of the Indonesian people to sign this agreement.
