Madinah Al-Munawarah, Saudi Arabia, Jumada I, 05, 1434, March 17, 2013, SPA -- The Khateeb (orator) of Al-Aqsa mosque has praised Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah festival as capital of Islamic culture 2013, currently ongoing in the holy city that embraces the mosque of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, he considered the great event hosted by Muslim's second holiest city, as a chance to spread the biography of Prophet Mohammed as well as highlighting the religious, historical and civilizational status of the city. He lauded the efforts exerted by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince for the care they accord for the two holy mosques, citing the most recent expansion of the Prophet's mosque. He highly valued the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by King Abdullah for the service of Islam and Muslims all over the world and his continuous support for the Palestinian cause, particularly that of Al-Aqsa mosque.
