Four archeologists were today awarded prestigious medals by the Yemeni government for their efforts in unveiling antiquities in Yemen and Arab peninsula. Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Alansari of Saudi Arabia, Professor Dr. Abdulhaleem Nuraldin of Egypt, Professor Walter Muller of Federal Republic of Germany and Professor Dr. Walter Dostal of Austria were awarded Yemen's golden May 22 medals for their efforts in excavating valuable antiquities in Yemen and the Arab peninsula. The medals were given away to the four professors by Dr. Salih Basurrah, Principal of the University of Sanaa, on behalf of President Ali Abdullah Salih of Yemen.
