The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) held here its 3rd monthly symposium entitled "Fundamentals of Building National Strategy and Plan of Action in the Field of Combating Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing." The symposium hosted the Governor of Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency who is the Chairman of the Standing Committee for Combating Money Laundering, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Kareem Al-Khulaifi. It was also attended by representatives of the 41 member countries of the IMCTC. Acting Secretary General of the IMCTC, Air Vice Marshal Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Mughaidi welcomed Dr. Al-Khulaifi who, in turn, addressed the symposium and highlighted important aspects in combating the financing of terrorism in details. It is worth mentioning that combating the financing of terrorism is one of the four domains of the Coalition's action, besides the intellectual, media and military ones.
