Saudi Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah met here today with World Food Programme (WFP) Executive Director David Beasley. During the meeting, they reviewed ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of food security and overcoming difficulties facing humanitarian and relief work in various countries of the world. They also discussed joint programs in Yemen and Syria and the best support mechanism to alleviate the sufferings of needy peoples. WFP Executive Director stressed the Kingdom's leading role in humanitarian work and that it ranks fourth in the world in funding humanitarian work, which is characterized by neutrality and not being linked to a political agenda, praising the strength of the partnership that brings the WFP with KSrelief.
