The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus hailed the active and pioneering role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the region and around the world, pointing out that the main objective of his visit to Saudi Arabia is to strengthen bilateral partnership with King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action (KSRelief), in the field of humanitarian work. On the other hand, the Director co-signed here on Monday with the Advisor-at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of KSRelief Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabi'ah an executive program to enhance partnership between the two sides, build capacity and training programs between the center and the organization, as well as to create an effective humanitarian partnership to reflect commitment of the two sides to work together, in order to alleviate the suffering of the affected peoples. A joint executive program was also agreed upon, in response to the protection of Syrian children, by providing them with 12 months of preventive vaccines, worth $3,300,000.
