Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing a package of reforms and amendments related to enhancing the role of Saudi women in national development in accordance with its Vision 2030. The paper noted that these reforms and amendments were recently approved by the Cabinet such as regulations of travel documents, civil status, and labor met by the rapid interaction of the relevant government agencies. The paper added that the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud always emphasizes the empowerment of women in all fields and promoting of their cultural, economic and health levels. In another context, Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that with achievement figures of Saudi economy's performance, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received the annual report of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), which reviews the economic and financial developments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during 2018. The paper added that KSA firmly continues achieving successive positive results along with the stages of transformation within the goals of its Vision 2030. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has spared no effort for serving pilgrims coming from all over the world. The paper noted that KSA provides the pilgrims with the best and various services to perform their Hajj rituals in comfort, safety and tranquility. The paper added that by the new year, KSA has begun to receive a big groups of visitors and Umrah performers and provide them as usual every season with best services to perform their Umrah rituals in comfort and tranquility.
