The advisor to the Chechen President, Supreme Mufti of the Republic of Chechnya, Sheikh Salah Mezhiev, described the Kingdom's participation in the inauguration of the largest mosque in Europe as a rational Islamic act, pointing out that this is an affirmation of its global and pioneering mission in the service of Islam and spreading moderation. He pointed to the historical relations between the two countries based on bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially those related to joint Islamic action. The Supreme Mufti of the Republic of Chechnya concluded by affirming that the Kingdom's participation in the inauguration of the Fakher Al-Muslimeen Mosque (pride of Muslims) is appreciated by the Chechen people.
