Speaker of Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, currently on a visit to the Philippines, held a meeting here today with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Philippines Alan Peter Cayetano. At the outset, the Filipino speaker welcomed his Saudi counterpart and accompanying delegation to the country, stressing the significance of promoting existing bilateral relations binding them, in all fields, to best serve the interest of the two nations and peoples and enhancing bilateral cooperation and coordination, especially, in the parliamentary domain. Then, during the meeting, the two sides reviewed means to consolidate bilateral relations, regional as well as international topics, in addition to various issues of mutual interest.
