Jordan, Sri Lanka Discuss Cooperation

Minister of Labour Amjad Majali discusses on Sunday with a Sri Lankan delegation led by Minister of Labour Athauda
Seneviratna ties of cooperation between the two countries especially in the field of labour.
Majali praised relations between Jordan and Sri Lanka particularly in the labour field, stressing the need to further develop them for the interest of both countries.
He also reviewed the role played by the Sri Lankan laborers in Jordan, expressing the ministry's readiness to tackle all problems and difficulties facing Sri Lankan laborers in the Kingdom.
The Sri Lankan minister for his part said that the delegation will discuss with officials from the labour ministry the signing of a memorandum of understanding on the movement of labour. --SP 2250 Local Time 1950 GMT
