Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama has stressed the need of further boosting people to people contacts between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Speaking to the members of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Bogollagama said the business community in both the countries must play active role to exploit trade potential between both the countries and sharing experiences of each other for mutual benefit. He assured all out cooperation from Sri Lanka to promote bilateral trade, enhance volume of exports between both the countries and to provide facilities to the businessmen including relaxation in visa conditions. The foreign minister also talked to the members of Sri Lankan families in Pakistan at FPCCI office and praised the positive role which they are playing for Sri Lanka while staying in Pakistan. Bogollagama urged them to render their services in Pakistan with more dedication to earn good name for themselves and their country and for Pakistan. FPCCI leader Iftikhar Ali Malik said Pakistan and Sri Lanka are two friendly countries of SAARC and their friendship must be bonded with the closer trade and industrial relations.
