The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) said in a statement today that 1946 terabytes of data were consumed in Makkah yesterday, up by 32% compared with the last year. The CITC also said that the daily data consumption rate per person is 347MB/subscriber, exceeding the global daily data consumption rate, which is 180MB/subscriber, by 92.5%, pointing out that the most data-consuming applications are YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, WhatsApp and Instagram.
