315 officers and individuals at the Command and Control Center of the Hajj Security Forces at the Public Security Directorate in Al-Awali monitor the progress of security situation of pilgrims in holy sites and Makkah, through the deployment of 5909 high-resolution digital cameras throughout the holy sites, the six entrances to Makkah and the courtyards of the Grand Holy Mosque. In a tour of the Saudi Press Agency at the Command and Control Center for Hajj Security in Al-Awali, the Center's Commander Major General Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Tayash said that the Center is working to provide security services throughout this year's hajj season, through joint efforts by the Center's staff of high capabilities and skills in crowd and pedestrians management around the clock, contributing to managing the hajj system for this year.
