The Economical and Development Affairs Council held a meeting tonight, in NEOM, Tabuk Region. During the meeting, a number of relevant economic and development issues were discussed and necessary recommendations were made, in their regard, including a presentation from the Ministry of Economy and Planning, in relation to the quarterly economic report on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which has contained an analysis of the national economy indicators, contribution of regulatory sectors, productive activities contribution to the growth of the GDP and the main drives of the economic growth and the trends of the world economy. The council also reviewed a presentation from the Office of Strategic Management, at the council, on the quarterly report on programs related to realization of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030, which included a comprehensively detailing of the overall performance of these programs. It also reviewed financing and expenditure status, in addition to potential challenges that may face achievement phases and measurements to mitigate them. A presentation from the committee for enhancing the balance of payments and economic diversification related to it, besides its main objectives, were discussed, too.
