As many as 54453 pilgrims arrived in the Kingdom, from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Malaysia, during the period of 1-11 Dhu Al-Qidah 1440 H., on board 135 flights as part of Makkah Road Initiative whereas pilgrims finalize their travel, customs and visa procedures at home. In a statement announced here today, the Directorate General of Passports said that the number of arriving pilgrims via King Abdulaziz International Airport, in Jeddah, is 20261 pilgrims, on board 50 flights, while the number of arriving pilgrims through Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport, in Madinah, is 34192 pilgrims, on board 57 flights.
