463 Malaysian pilgrims left here today from Kuala Lumpur airport, heading for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the first flight of Makkah Road Initiative for Hajj 1440H season. The Initiative was launched today at Kuala Lumpur airport for the third consecutive year. The initiative inauguration ceremony was attended by Minister of Religious Affairs at Malaysian Prime Minister's Office Dr. Mujahid Yusuf, Saudi Deputy Chairman of Supervisory Committee Major General Khalid bin Fahad Al-Jaid, and Saudi Ambassador to Malaysia Mahmoud Hussein Qattan. Dr. Mujahid Yusuf thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince for implementing this initiative in Malaysia for the third year in a row, noting that this initiative is facilitating the missions of Malaysian pilgrims.
