Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) has hit a record passenger transport in July 2004, it was reported here today. Prince Fahd bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Civil Aviation Affairs, hailed the record transportation of 1,673,503 passengers in July 2004, SAUDIA's highest rate of passengers payload in history. He attributed the achievement to the success of the new strategic plan approved by Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. The new record exceeds by 105,882 passengers and by 7 percent what has been transported in July last year and by 320,464 passengers, or 24 percent, what has been reached in the same month in 2000.
