Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper wrote about Saudi-Japanese relations, saying that it is well known that relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Japan are deeply rooted in the history and both leaderships of the two friendly countries are keen to deepen relations in various fields, especially as the Kingdom has started to implement parts of its ambitious vision 2030. The newspaper also added that the Japanese leadership has expressed its readiness to cooperate with the Kingdom to push forward this vision. This readiness was reflected in the memorandums of understanding and partnerships that the Kingdom had signed with major Japanese companies to build bridges of cooperation between the two countries; as Japan enjoys a major industrial and economic position at a global level, the newspaper noted.
