Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues on local, regional, and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the visit being paid by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense to China which is his third stop within his successful tour to a number of Asian countries, resulted in the signing on a new series of memorandums of understanding and agreements that will have a significant and effective impact to increase the pace of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially the industrial and economic ones. On the same context, Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that China is one of our strategic partners. It has political and economic powers, pivotal role in global issues, while it is an active member in the international community through its permanent membership in the Security Council. The paper added that there are also many areas of cooperation between the two countries which have always emphasized their keenness and desire to enhance their relations in various fields, especially in light of the Kingdom's vision 2030 and China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which represent a common vision for the future relations between the two countries.
