HRH Crown Prince and Russian President Hold Meeting in Osaka, Japan

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Head of the Saudi delegation to the G20 summit of leaders, and President Vladimir Putin of Russia held a meeting here today.
During the meeting, the Russian president conveyed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his invitation to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
His Excellency was pleased to meet His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and to discuss bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
His Excellency welcomed the Kingdom's hosting of the summit of the Group of 20 countries, expressing his confidence that the Kingdom's presidency of its work will contribute to resolving issues of international concern.
The Russian president confirmed his country's support for the Kingdom to ensure the success of the upcoming G-20 summit.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings and welcome of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to His Excellency to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the coming period.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince highlighted the Saudi-Russian relations developments in the last few years in all fields, especially political, economic, military and security.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince affirmed that the two friendly countries are working on many issues for the interest of the two countries and peoples, and we hope that these efforts will be successful.
During the meeting, they discussed the areas of joint coordination, especially regarding trade and investment, and stressed the importance of continued cooperation in the oil field.
The meeting was attended by Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of National Guard, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, Minister of State and Cabinet Member Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Foreign Minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid Al-Qassabi and Minister of Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Khaled Al-Faleh.
The meeting was also attended by a number of Russian senior officials.
