Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Tuesday condemned the ongoing Israeli violations against the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The statement comes after the Israeli Minister of Agriculture, along with a number of settlers, stormed the compound this morning. The ministry's Spokesperson Sufyan Qudah warned of the ramifications of such provocative actions that violate international law and exacerbate tension. Qudah demanded Israel, as the occupying power, to stop its "provocative practices" and assault on holy sites immediately, uphold its obligations according to international law, and respect the Jerusalem Awqaf Department's jurisdiction, as the sole legal authority responsible for managing the compound's affairs under international law.
