Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm newspaper said in its editorial titled "Interests and Goals" that there is no doubt that our country has a high place in the international community, where all countries of the world are more keen to establish quality relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the establishment of beneficial joint projects and mutual investments. The paper added that the US Ambassador John Abizaid described his country's relations with the Kingdom as one of the most important relations in the world, and that the United States looks forward to cooperate with the Kingdom in implementing the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which Washington believes it to be of great importance for the development and prosperity of the region. Chinese Ambassador Chen Weiqing was also enthusiastic about his country's relations with the Kingdom and the importance of the Vision, especially that in China they have the Belt and Road Initiative that are consistent with our Vision, through which we will build our future. The paper concluded that the agreement of the United States of America and the People's Republic of China, which are permanent members of the Security Council, on the strategy of relations with our country and the importance of our future vision confirms that our country is strongly consolidating its position in the international community politically and economically.
