Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial entitled ''International action to preserve the world economy'' that the cowardly terrorist act that took place yesterday morning targeting oil pipelines in Al-Dawadmi and Afif Governorates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and another criminal act that targeted two Saudi vessels in the UAE's territorial waters obviously aim to destabilize security and stability of the region and the world and its economy as well. The paper added that such heinous crime proves the importance of concerted international community to deter all forms of terrorism. In the same context, Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is capable of deterring such terrorist acts targeting the oil industry as it has many alternatives to continue supplying the world markets with energy.
