Three air force personnel were killed after their helicopter crashed in the mountainous jungles of Borneo, the Malaysian government said. Seven other passengers survived. The Sikorski S-61A military helicopter disappeared while ferrying five soldiers, two pilots and three other crew members to a remote military surveillance outpost on Malaysia's border with Indonesia on Sunday. Air searchers found both pilots and a crew member dead at a crash site Monday and airlifted the others who were injured to a hospital, Defense Minister Najib Razak was quoted as saying by the national news agency, Bernama. Najib said officials were still investigating whether the crash resulted from bad weather or technical difficulties.
