Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm Newspaper said in its editorial on combating terrorism that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always committed to the principles of dismantling terrorist cells in any part of the world in the belief that those established principles represent the most effective way of spreading stability within human societies, where these principles require strong measures to contain and eliminate terrorism, as security bodies in the Kingdom are doing under the directives of the leadership and its calling on all countries in the world to spare humanity from the consequences of conflicts, crises, wars, unrest, sectarianism and hatred speech that terrorists attempt to spread within human societies without exception. The newspaper concluded that the correct Saudi approach reflected the best way to contain terrorism everywhere, where other countries expressed their admiration, appreciation and commendation of the vital role being played by the Kingdom's leadership to find best ways to contain the phenomenon of terrorism by adopting two basic principles. The first is the call for dialogue between followers of religions and cultures to bring together views on the noble goals of spreading security, stability and tranquility in the world. The other principle is the desired cooperation among all peoples to contain the phenomenon of terrorism in various ways.
