Greek police sealed off a media apartment complex next to the Olympics Stadium on Saturday but later gave the all-clear after checking a suspicious package, witnesses said. A bomb squad with sniffer dogs was called in to investigate a bag found inside the Marousi 1 media village while dozens of journalists and photographers were kept about 50 metres away. "We have been allowed back in," a Reuters photographer said. Police had told reporters to stay away until a bomb squad using sniffer dogs scanned the building. "They entered the building and were inside for about 20 minutes," he said. Games officials said security guards had noticed a bag which did not belong to anyone and called in police. Police officials said there had been a report of a suspicious object and they had checked it. The Marousi 1 village, adjacent to the main Olympic sports complex, is one of six media accommodations for the August 13-29 Athens Olympics.
