Saudi Arabia Joins BRITACOM as Observer

Governor of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax Eng. Suhail Aba Numi has signed an agreement allowing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to join the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Mechanism (BRITACOM) as an observer. This came during the first Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Forum which was held in Wuzhen, China.
The Kingdom's delegation participating in the forum held a special meeting with a delegation from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), during which they discussed the mechanism of cooperation in tax fields as well as means of improving tax policies and facilitating trade and investment.
