Saudi national Mansur Al-Selim won 3 gold medals in the snatch, jerk and combination, ranking the first in the 55 kg weight category, at the Asian Weightlifting Championships, taking place nowadays, in China. The champion set a new achievement by winning the first Asian gold medal in weightlifting for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The President of the Saudi Weightlifting Federation Mohammed Al-Harbi congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, HRH the Crown Prince, the Sportsmen and the Saudi people for such a great achievement. Amidst an arena full of a host of Olympic and international champions, Al-Selim reaffirmed the ability of Saudi sportsmen to raise the Saudi flag, as the Royal Anthem of Saudi Arabia was played, in all international and continental fields and tracks.
