The Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Assad Qaiser received at the headquarters of the National Parliament of Pakistan in Islamabad the Imam of Makkah-based Grand Mosque Dr. Abdullah bin Awwad Al-Juhani, currently on a visit to Pakistan. "Pakistan attaches great importance to its fraternal relations with the Kingdom and is keen to promote and develop these relations in various fields," he said, stressing the importance of enhancing cooperation among Islamic countries to address the challenges facing the nation and highlighting the true image of Islam which renounces terrorism and extremism. He described the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as the leader of the Arab and Islamic Nations, praising his wisdom and wise policy in various issues that serve the interests of the Islamic Nation and preserve its Islamic identity and protect its sanctities. He also praised the Kingdom's position with Pakistan in various tribulations experienced by Pakistan over the past decades and also praised the recent visit of HRH the Crown Prince to Pakistan, describing it as influential and distinguished. The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance for Islamic Affairs Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Samil, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, and the delegation of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance and a number of senior Pakistani officials.
