Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan led his country's delegation to the joint spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB), held in Washington from 12 to 14 April 2019, it was reported here today. During his stay, Al-Jadaan held a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the event with a number of finance ministers and representatives of international organizations, as well as meetings with the American Chamber of Commerce, in addition to a group of financial institutions, including a group of American companies and businessmen. The Spring Meetings brought together the Board of Governors of IMF and the WB Group, in the presence of finance ministers and central banks governors of the world. It also hosted a number of development ministers, parliamentarians, private sector executives, representatives of civil society organizations and academics to discuss issues of global concern, including the global economic outlook, poverty eradication and economic development.
