Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohamed Al-Halbousi received here today the Saudi economic delegation participating in the 2nd meeting of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council with .Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi heading the Saudi side in the meeting. According to a press release issued by the Iraqi Parliament, the meeting discussed means of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iraq to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples, and reviewed the memorandums of understanding that organize the bilateral cooperation in various fields, and the nature of investment projects to be established in Iraq. Al-Halbousi confirmed the keenness of the Iraqi Parliament to provide all necessary legislation and laws to develop the investment and commercial sector in Iraq to strengthen the relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
