Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Thamer Al-Ghadhban met in Baghdad this evening with the Kingdom's delegation to the second session of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordinating Council led by Minister of Trade and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the historical relations between the two brotherly countries and stressed the joint keenness to enhance them in various fields. They also discussed the positive impact of the visit by the Kingdom's delegation at the present time to enhance brotherly relations and identify opportunities for developing economic and investment relations between the two brotherly countries. The two sides said that the visit includes holding a number of meetings to discuss memorandums of understanding on the levels of economy, trade, transport, culture and pilgrimage.
