The Saudi relief delegation headed by Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Swailem, President of Saudi Red Crescent Society arrived in Niala city of South Darfur State on Tuesday. At Niala International Airport, they were received by a number of Sudanese officials. Later today, the delegation met with the Office Director of Sudan's Red Crescent Society in the state Abdulkareem Idriss Hassan. Then the delegation visited Kalmah Camp accommodating more than 96,000 displaced persons from Darfur Region. In a press statement following the visit, Dr. Al-Suwailem said that a number of relief centers will be set up in camps, adding that there will be cooperation with the World Food Organization to distribute food and hygienic supplies to displaced persons.
