The Quartet Arab Ministerial Committee on the follow-up to the crisis with Iran held here today a meeting, chaired by the United Arab Emirates and with the participation of the member countries of the Committee: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, the UAE and Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit. The committee discussed a report on the follow-up of the crisis with Iran and ways to address its interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries politically, economically and media. The Committee prepared a draft statement on this subject as well as a draft resolution to be submitted to the preparatory meeting of Arab foreign ministers to the Arab Summit, to be issued by the Arab leaders in this regard.
