The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place in the Somali capital Mogadishu, resulting in killing and injuring a number of people. OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and the people and the Government of the Republic of Somalia. Al-Othaimeen stressed the OIC position in supporting the Somali Government in its sincere efforts to combat terrorism, noting the need to strengthen the international partnership to counter the threat of terrorism.
