Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard chaired on Monday the cabinet's weekly session at Al-Salam palace in Jeddah. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the session, the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Fuad bin Abdulsalam Al-Farsi said that the Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on the latest developments at Arab, Islamic and international arenas. On the situations in the Palestinian territories, the Crown Prince emphasized the importance of taking a united world stand to confront the arrogance of Israel which has disregarded the resolutions of the international legitimacy, and has frozen and marginalized its treaties with the Palestinians on achieving peace and stability, and to confront Israel's persistence in aggression on the Palestinian people particularly the killing and displacement of people, demolition of their houses, and its continual pursuit to undermine the infrastructure in Palestine. As regards Iraq, the Cabinet called on the brotherly Iraqi people to overcome the crisis and disorder, to work together with the Iraqi government to achieve security, stability and not to fall for those who seek to destabilize the country and kill the innocent. --More 2054 Local Time 1754 GMT
