The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) strongly condemned the Israeli violations, in the occupied Palestinian Territories, and the aggression of the Israeli occupying forces against unarmed civilians, in the besieged Gaza Strip The Kingdom's ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasal said in a speech to the Human Rights Council, during an interactive dialogue with the Commission of Inquiry into violations, in the Gaza Strip: the report of the Committee exposed the volume of grave violations and the use of excessive force by the Israeli occupation forces against unarmed demonstrators, in Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 183 Palestinians by the end of 2018 and injuring thousands, including children and women. He called on the international community to put an end to these aggressive practices and to hold those responsible accountable for these crimes. He also pointed out that violations of the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people have continued unabated for decades and the Israeli occupation forces will continue to violate international law and humanitarian law under a policy of impunity. Al-Wasal said that the Kingdom's agreed with the committee in all its recommendations, especially those regarding the implementation of all recommendations resulting from special procedures and facts finding commissions and called on the UN member states to shoulder their responsibility to promote the commitment to human rights and to ensure respect for international law based on Article 1 of Geneva Conventions.
