A bomb exploded inside a restaurant in a western neighbourhood of Karachi on Sunday, killing at least three people and wounding 21 others, police and doctors said. "So far three dead and 21 injured have been brought to our hospital," Mazharuddin, a doctor at a state-run hospital said. Police said the blast occurred inside a restaurant located adjacent to a police station at around 7:10 p.m. (1410 GMT). On Saturday, an explosion killed two people and wounded three others. Police and paramilitary rangers threw a cordon around the site of the explosion. Karachi, a teeming city of more than 14 million people, has been rocked by a spate of attacks since Pakistan joined the U.S.-led war on terrorism in 2001. Police blame extremists and al Qaeda-linked militants for most of these attacks.
