The Saudi Water Forum (SWF), which will by organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture during 17-19/3/2019, at Hotel Fairmont in Riyadh, will hold a workshop on the Japanese strategy for the water sector contributing to the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030, which was launched during the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The workshop will be attended by a number of interested people in the water sector in the Kingdom and Japan, as part of a series of workshops and meetings to achieve a set of objectives aimed at promoting sustainable development of this sector, exchange and localization of expertise to achieve water sustainability and development, attract a investments to the water sector, increase local content and localization of water technologies, and achieving integration in the water sector in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The Forum, which will be held under the patronage of Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsin Al-Fadhli, is of a great importance to those responsible for the water sector both inside and outside the Kingdom, where it will discuss the efforts and future directions of the water sector in the Kingdom, including water desalination, distribution and investment, and policies and legislation in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the National Water Strategy.
