The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the results of his meeting with Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri of the Lebanese Republic, citing the discussion they held on ways of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries and the latest regional developments. The Minister of Media Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah said, in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the session, that the Cabinet reviewed a number of reports on the latest developments on the Arab, regional and international arenas. The Cabinet also discussed the Kingdom's participation in the 151st session of the Arab League's Council at the ministerial level, held in Cairo, and the meeting of the Arab Quartet Ministerial Committee on Iranian Interventions chaired by the United Arab Emirates, which was held on the sidelines of the Arab foreign ministers meeting. The Cabinet confirmed the statement made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia before the meeting of the Council of the Arab League at the ministerial level, citing the firm positions towards various regional crises experienced by some Arab countries and still of a great concern to the Arab nation, hoping that everyone will have a spirit of cooperation and responsibility towards them and working to end these crisis through supporting political solutions that are consistent with the international references and resolutions of the relevant Arab summits, activating them and act accordingly.
