The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the contents of the message he has received from President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and the results of the monarch's meeting with the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. The Minister of Media Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah said, in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the session, that the Cabinet explained that the Kingdom's donation of 500 million dollars to co-finance the United Nations Humanitarian Response Plan for Yemen in 2019, in addition to "Imdad" initiative which has been announced since the beginning of this year to support food security and nutrition in Yemen, embody the Kingdom's commitment towards the Yemeni people and its endeavor to support the humanitarian and economic aspects, in a way that bolsters Yemen's security and stability, citing that the Kingdom has provided until January 2019, more than 13 billion US dollars' worth of all forms of support for the Yemeni people. The Cabinet praised the results of the meetings of the 36th Session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Interior and the joint meeting of Arab Ministers of Interior and Arab Ministers of Justice, concluded in Tunisia, and expressed its approval of the resolutions and recommendations issued by the two chambers, as their outcome is set to continue work and enhance joint Arab security cooperation and accomplish further achievements to provide security and stability of all Arab peoples. --More 18:01 LOCAL TIME 15:01 GMT 0018 www.spa.gov.sa/1895530
