The fifth session of the joint Saudi-Azerbaijani committee started today in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Session was co-headed by the Governor of the General Investment Authority, Engineer Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, and Azerbaijani Minister of Finance, Samir Sharifov. The Governor of the General Investment Authority stressed that the relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Azerbaijan are distinguished at all levels, assuring that the Kingdom is one of the first countries that is keen to strengthen its relations with Azerbaijan. He also pointed out that the relations between the two countries are gaining great importance in light of many economic, cultural and civilizational partnerships.
