The Governor of Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), Engineer Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar and Director General of the Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Investment of the Republic of Tunisia, Khalil Al-Obeidi have signed a joint work program aimed at strengthening the partnership between the two parties in the field of trade and investment. The program aimed also at enhancing trade and economic cooperation, exchanging knowledge, expertise and information, as well as cooperation in the field of marketing for investment and introducing the investment climate and opportunities in both countries. This came on the sidelines of the 9th session of the Saudi-Tunisian Joint Committee, held recently in Tunisia under the chairmanship of the Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Tunisian Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation who is also the Acting Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Fadhl Abdulkafi with the participation of about 60 businessmen from both parties as well as representatives from different economic sectors. Engineer Al-Omar stressed the keenness of SAGIA on improving relations and enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, contributing to the support of the National Transformation Program 2020.
