Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues on local, regional, and international arenas. Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's donation of $ 500 million to fund the United Nations humanitarian response plan for the year 2019 on Tuesday comes as an extension of its stand in support of the Yemeni people. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that appointing of Princess Rima bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz as Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America reflects the Kingdom's direction towards empowering women. The newspaper noted that the Kingdom pays attention for giving women full confidence in the opportunities they deserve to occupy the highest posts. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that despite the explicit clauses that came in the Swedish agreement between the delegation of the Yemeni legitimacy and the Houthi coup delegation, Houthi militias retreated from the implementation of that stage on the redeployment plan in Hodeidah by offering false excuses to prevent their withdrawal.
